Apartotel Don Franciscois the newest addition to Costa Rica’s wide inventory of fine apartotels catering to international tourists and business persons.

Management is proud that this hotel carries the name of one of Costa Rica’s greatest pioneers, Ing. Don Francisco (Chisco) Vargas Montero.

Don Francisco was instrumental in relocating and constructing Juan Santa Maria International Airport in Alajuela, where most of our guests fly into Costa Rica each day. One of Don Francisco’s greatest accomplishments was the construction of Lake Arenal, which covers the old city of Arenal, and provides most of Central America with its electrical power. Don Francisco was years ahead of his time, bringing innovations from his years of study and work in Europe, Central America, and the United States to his native Costa Rica, and is a member of Costa Rica’s Engineer’s Hall of Fame.

The apartotel strives, through its spacious suites and its many amenities, to give all of our guests a feeling that they’re not far from home during their stay. The apartotel is located in Guachipelin, in the municipality of Escazu, which is in the providence of San Jose.

The apartotel runs a city block long, and is situated in a residential area rich in new urbanization, in one of Costa Rica’s fastest growing communities. The hotel is strategically located off of one of Costa Rica’s main highways and lends a vivacious view from all angles to the gracious mountains that surround the city.

The open atrium in the lobby, along with its inspirational fountain, provides all of the guests with a feeling of peace and serenity they so dearly seek and deserve in their travels.
